 Gregory Watson is managing director of Folder Media, the UK's leading digital radio business consultants, and of FUN radio, a digital radio service for children under 10 and their parents.
A chartered accountant, Gregory worked for the Radio Authority between 1991 and 1998, where he helped advise on the shape of UK regulation for digital radio. In 1998, he joined GWR Group as Head of Special Projects, with responsibility for new analogue and digital radio opportunities. In this capacity, Gregory was involved with the application for Digital One and oversaw the development of GWR's local multiplex network, NOWdigital.
Gregory has always been passionate about commercial radio broadening its horizons. In 2007, recognising that a significant proportion of the radio industry was being left behind by digital advancements, Gregory left GCap Media to create Folder Media to assist this key part of the radio sector.
